SIKANDER H. KHAN

Sikander H. Khan has over 40 years of investment management experience. Prior to forming Meltemi in 2003 he was the Chief Investment Officer of Standard Chartered Grindlays Private Bank, where he managed a team of investment professionals that globally provided discretionary and advisory investment services to the private clients of the Bank.

Till the end of 1998 he was Senior Investment Manager and Head of Investments at Citibank Private Banking Group in London where, besides managing an investment team, he created the Managed Currency Account (MCA) programme. Since its inception in 1989 to the end of 1997, individual MCA portfolios appreciated 10.74%* p.a net of all fees. Volatility of the returns (standard deviation) was considerably lower then equities. In 1997 the Luxembourg-registered Citi Landmark Managed Currency Fund achieved the first place in the Standard % Poor's Micropal Offshore Territories Money Monet Market International (Managed Currency) Sector.
